Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Health Protection Guidelines for

animal contact displays

"there must be immediate availability to hand washing facilities, meaning visitors must be routed from animal contact areas straight to the hand washing station(s).  W.C. facilities which are"nearby" at the location are not acceptable unless the routing arrangements are such that visitors must enter the handwashing area after the contact area.Facilities must have warm running water, soap (preferably liquid), single use towels and appropriate signage. If the requirement for the "immediate available hand washing"cannot be met then the advise from the Health Protection Agency is that the display must be non contact with a double-fenced  arrangement".

We adhere to these guidelines and will provide all the

necessary equipment required.

Please note at large venues the client will be responsible for supplying pedestrian barriers and a water supply.
